An 11-level “mini mega dungeon”, Dyson’s Delve was designed to give a small megadungeon experience and to advance characters that played it at a rate that would start them at level 1 and culminate the adventure at level 6.
You can see the genesis of my map style in these maps (much like the geomorph maps which came out around the same time).
But times have changed – it’s been nearly a decade and my style has evolved a bit over the intervening years. Here are the first two levels of the classic mini-mega-dungeon at 1200 dpi in my new style as seen in the new D&D hardcover adventure, Ghosts of Saltmarsh.
Over the next few months I’ll be posting all 11 levels of Dyson’s Delve in this redrawn format – and then once they’ve all been posted I’ll reformat the whole Dyson’s Delve experience using the new maps and some of my own illustrations and release it as an exclusive release for all supporters of the Patreon campaign.
The maps on Dyson’s Dodecahedron are released for free personal use thanks to the support of awesome patrons like you over on Patreon. Every month 400 patrons come together to make these releases possible. You can help too in order to keep the flow of maps coming and to improve their quality – and even get a map of your own!
